Grand Slam and Triple Crown Trophies

Club Captain John Louth and fellow first team members Shane Nalty and Mark Hynes get to grips with the Triple Crown and Grand Slam Trophies during the trophies recent visit to Arklow Rugby Club.  Arklow Rugby Club in association with the Leinster Branch also helped organise the visit of the trophy to some of the local schools in the area.  See our news section for more details.

Former Captain Appointed Coach for 2009/10 Season

Former Arklow Captain Lloyd Furlong has been appointed coach for 2009/10 season.  Lloyd Furlong captained Arklow from 1999/01 seasons securing promotion to Division 1 in his second term as captain.Further to hanging up the boots Furlong enjoyed two succesful seasons at Athy as coach and now returns to take the helm at Arklow.  It is hoped Furlong's leadership qualities can help Arklow to bounce back from an indifferent Season in 2008/09.
